4th grade students are learning about earthquakes. They were given 10 minutes to build the tallest structure they could that could stand by itself for three minutes with newspaper and tape! All four teams' structures stood on their own for three minutes. We had a tie for the tallest structure standing at 24 inches!

On Friday, September 5th, fifth grade visited Mrs.Lang's preschool

Winners of the spaghetti noodle and marshmallow competition. All three classes had to create a structure with marshmallows and spaghetti noodles strong enough to hold their science book. Only ONE group out of all three classes accomplished the task!
