Dairy Judging was the first FFA competition for the Winside Chapter. The students piled on buses over to Wayne, filled with excitement to participate in a new experience. The students gathered at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. At the competition, students were split into groups (6) with other schools. In these groups the students observed dairy character, udder strength, frame and legs and more! After a quick 6 rounds of judging, the students ate lunch generously prepared by Wayne Schools. After lunch, the students listened to how the judge, Martey Stewart, ranked the cattle from best to worst.
