We learned about the lifecycle of a groundhog. As well as they are only found in North America, they eat fruits, nuts and plants. They can be 24 inches tall and weigh 12-15 pounds. Groundhogs have sharp claws to dig burrows underground and they like to keep their burrows clean. We had fun learning about groundhogs.
