On Monday, October 9, Northeast Community College hosted their annual Hawkfest Honor Band and Choir Festival. This is an auditioned band and choir that works all day on selected music and performs a concert at the end of the day. The students also learned about the college and had the opportunity to listen to the brass ensemble and concert choir perform. This year, Elayna Hoskinson and Natalie Cautrell auditioned for and were selected as a sopranos in the honor choir. They learned four songs for the honor choir, and an additional song performed by the honor band, honor choir, and directors.
